The shopping is unique and amazing in Williamsburg, including for clothes. Which fashion-related stores should we definitely check out?

ID Menswear (232 Bedford Ave. Tel: 718-599- 0790. www.idnewyork.com). Some of their most recognized brands are Penguin, Naked and Famous, and Scotch and Soda. Alter (140 Franklin St. Tel: 718-349-0203. www.alterbrooklyn.com), a men and women’s boutique store with locations in both Williamsburg and Greenpoint that offers a great small selection of modern basics. Located a couple blocks from the hotel, OAK NYC (55 Nassau Ave. Tel: 718- 782-0521. www.oaknyc.com) offers more chic, edgy-style clothing. Sandro (65 N. 6th St. Tel: 718-388-9555. www.us.sandroparis.com) is a high-end boutique from France with a location in Williamsburg, and Gant (115 N. 6th St. Tel: 718-302-1949. www.gant.com), an international brand, carries almost every clothing item you may need, but they’re best known for their button-down shirts.

What are the best gay and lesbian bars and discos in Brooklyn?

My favorite gay bar in Brooklyn is Metropolitan (559 Lorimer St. Tel: 718-599-4444. www.metropolitanbarny.com). A great mix of people, drink specials, and very fun themed nights, including “Queenaoke,” “Alotta Trivia,” RuPaul’s Drag Race viewing when the new season is on, and “Gag!” There’s always a drag performance at some point in the night, and Charlene and Sasha Velour are just a couple of the queens you’ll see. Excelsior (563 5th Ave. Tel: 718-788-2710. www.excelsiorbrooklyn.com) is a neighborhood gay bar in Park Slope and has a very casual, friendly environment with nightly drink specials and themed nights. And, Park Slope being very lesbian-friendly, Gingers (363 5th Ave. Tel: 718-788- 0924. www.facebook.com/gingersbar) is its popular lesbian bar, with a pool table and large outdoor area. They have nightly drink specials, too.

Where can someone go at 3 A.M. for a good meal?

There are a couple of spots in Brooklyn that are open 24/7. My go-to’s begin with Williamsburg’s Kellogg’s Diner (518 Metropolitan Ave. Tel: 718-782-4502), which is retro-styled and has a massive menu. Park Slope’s 7th Avenue Donuts (324 7th Ave. Tel: 718-768-0748. www.7thavenuedonutsanddiner.com) does have delicious donuts, but also classic diner food and has been in the neighborhood for 30 years.

If someone is looking for a full-service spa, where do you send them?

In Williamsburg, N4 Med Spa (47 N. 4th St. Tel: 718-246-4772. www.n4medspa.com). They offer a variety of spa services, including cosmetic procedures like Botox, CoolSculpt, and chemical peels. Bamford Haybarn Spa (60 Furman St. Tel: 347- 696-2530. www.1hotels.com/brooklynbridge/do/bamford-haybarn-spa) is located in Dumbo’s I Hotel Brooklyn Bridge and has a full service spa menu.

Please finish this sentence: Don’t leave Brooklyn without…

Seeing or walking over the Brooklyn Bridge. Visiting Domino Park, a beautiful, newly built promenade in front of the Old Domino Sugar Factory. And making a stop at Brooklyn Brewery, a staple in the community.
