Every July, Out In The Vineyard hosts this exclusive event for the LGBTQ+ community and people from all around the country are in attendance.
Gay Wine Weekend moved to the Russian River Valley/Healdsburg Region of Sonoma County just last year and featured all-new venues, restaurants, and wineries. “It was a huge success and so much fun to introduce guests of Gay Wine Weekend to this part of Sonoma Wine Country,” says Out In The Vineyard owner Gary Saperstein. “I am looking forward to exploring more of this part of Sonoma with our audience. We have the opportunity to showcase more wineries, restaurants, and establishments with the event this July!”
Start the spectacular weekend on July 19 th with the VIP Opening Reception and Winemakers Dinners hosted by various wineries immersing your palette in the finest of wines and culinary creations. On July 20 th , head on winery tours showcasing some of the world’s most prestigious wine and wineries throughout Northern California’s breathtaking Sonoma and Napa Valleys.
Diversity Twilight
End your fabulous day with the Twilight T-Dance at La Crema Estate & Winery. Get your dancing shoes on with International House Music DJ Blacklow and dance the night away. Throughout the evening, sip on the diverse wines of La Crema in Richard’s Grove and enjoy the selection of food from the Food Truck-Up in one of the most picturesque Wine Country settings. On Friday and Saturday Night continue the fun with one of Gay Wine Weekend’s signature After Parties featuring one-of-a-kind entertainment and delicious libations.
Finish the delightful weekend with the Drag Queen Brunch & Wine Auction on July 21 st . The Drag Queen Brunch is one of the best ways to start your day after dancing like nobody’s watching all night and features dazzling drag queens from the West Coast. After brunch, take part in the popular Wine Auction with Gay Wine Weekend auctioneer Michael Tate raising funds for Face to Face.
Tres Gay
The beneficiary of Gay Wine Weekend is the Face to Face Sonoma County HIV/AIDS Network. Their mission is to provide compassionate care to people living with HIV/AIDS and their loved ones, and prevention education to the entire community.
Vinter’s Resort, Sonoma’s first luxury resort on a working vineyard in Santa Rosa is Gay Wine Weekend’s host hotel. Gay Wine Weekend will be taking over the entire resort for the festivities.
