DESCRIPTION:Our Mission\n\n\n\nThe mission of the Santa Fe Human Rights Alliance (HRA) is to educate\, engage\, encourage\, and celebrate LGBTQ+ inclusion\, pride\, and acceptance for all people. \nThe Human Rights Alliance was founded in 1993 in response to the defeat of Senate Bill 91\, civil rights legislation for lesbians and gay men. Rallying around the enthusiasm of our grassroots crusade\, local activists joined together to create this non-profit organization whose primary goal was to end discrimination of all kinds. HRA seeks to build coalitions with groups that will work for the civil rights of all New Mexicans and to develop outreach programming to support the community. \nIn addition to these goals\, we organize the annual Santa Fe Pride Festival\, held every year at the end of June. Pride Santa Fe is a wonderful event for all Santa Fe citizens to celebrate the unique\, diverse\, supportive\, artistic community that is Santa Fe.

DESCRIPTION:In an atmosphere that is festive\, militant and inclusive all at once\, the LGBTQIA+ Pride Parade\, or Paris Pride\, brings together thousands of people every year to defend equal rights\, celebrate identities and demand visibility for LGBTQIA+ communities\nOn Saturday 28 June 2025\, Paris will host a new edition of the Lesbian\, Gay\, Bi\, Trans\, Intersex\, Asexual and Queer Pride Parade – also known as Paris Pride or French Pride – organised by Inter-LGBT\, which this year celebrates 25 years of commitment. More than a parade\, it is a strong political act\, a moment of gathering to demand equal rights\, fight against discrimination and give a voice to gender and sexual minorities. The colourful procession will bring together associations\, unions\, collectives and citizens in solidarity in a festive atmosphere punctuated by floats\, committed slogans\, music and performances. This march is part of a militant tradition\, in the tradition of the Stonewall riots (1969)\, and punctuates a Pride Week full of events throughout the capital. It also echoes the International Day Against Homophobia\, Transphobia and Biphobia on 17 May\, reaffirming the urgency of defending fundamental rights. The finish line is at Place de la Nation\, where the Grand Podium will be set up for six hours of live music from 5pm to 11pm\, in front of 50\,000 spectators!

DESCRIPTION:What is Denver Pride?\n\n\n\n\n\nDenver Pride is produced by The Center on Colfax\, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides year-round programs and services for the LGBTQ+ community completely free-of-charge. Denver’s first LGBTQ+ pride celebration kicked off in 1974\, and the energy and unity of that first parade inspired the founding of The Center on Colfax in 1976.\n\n\nFrom there\, Denver Pride continued to grow\, adding a full festival in 1990\, and has since flourished into the largest Pride in the Rocky Mountain region with over 500\,000 visitors annually. Today\, Denver Pride consists of 3 main events\, encompassing the festival\, 5K\, and parade. This weekend produces the largest annual fundraiser for The Center and contributes directly to critical services for the local LGBTQ+ community\, such as mental health support\, programming for our transgender and gender diverse community\, youth\, older adults\, and more.

SUMMARY:Saint Louis Pride Fest 2025
DESCRIPTION:In order to understand the origins of the Pride Movement\, one must look back to June 28th\, 1969. \nThe Stonewall Inn\, an LGBTQIA+ bar in the Greenwich Village neighborhood in Manhattan\, New York City\, was the location for what is “widely considered to be the single most important event leading to the gay liberation movement and the modern fight for LGBTQIA+ rights in the United States” (National Parks Service). \n\n\n\nStonewall\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe years leading up to the events at Stonewall were filled with violence\, police brutality\, discrimination\, and hate toward the LGBTQIA+ community. Continued\, targeted raids by the New York City police led to tension between the department and the LGBTQIA+ community\, specifically the patrons at Stonewall. It wasn’t long before the tension developed into protests\, and then riots. Anger toward the injustice experienced by the LGBT community came to a point\, and the crowd struggled against the police. One individual who was there\, Michael Fader\, said the following: “We felt that we had freedom at last\, or freedom to at least show that we demanded freedom. We weren’t going to be walking meekly in the night and letting them shove us around—it’s like standing your ground for the first time and in a really strong way\, and that’s what caught the police by surprise. There was something in the air\, freedom a long time overdue\, and we’re going to fight for it. It took different forms\, but the bottom line was\, we weren’t going to go away. And we didn’t.”

DESCRIPTION:Our Mission \n\n\nHeritage of Pride works toward a future without discrimination where all people have equal rights under the law. We do this by producing LGBTQIA+ Pride events that inspire\, educate\, commemorate and celebrate our diverse community. \nOur History\n‍Our movement started with a moment. The roots of our movement began with the Stonewall Uprising of 1969. One year later\, the first NYC Pride March was organized by the Christopher Street Liberation Day Committee\, and marches have continued every year since. In the 1980’s\, we saw the beginning of some of our community’s darkest days with the onset of the HIV and AIDS pandemic. While much progress has been made to secure our human rights over the years\, violence in our community endures with the proliferation of guns in America. And hate crimes against all members of our community endure\, particularly against our Black Queer and Trans communities.

SUMMARY:Luxembourg Pride 2025
DESCRIPTION:Luxembourg Pride\n\n\nThe Luxembourg Pride was created in 1999 and will be celebrated for the 25nd time in 2024 and\, since 2010\, for the 14th time in a row in Esch-sur-Alzette\, the iron metropolis. The festival is organised by the non-profit organisation Rosa Lëtzebuerg\, a voluntary organisation which since its foundation in 1996 has been defending the rights of LGBT people living in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. \nLet’s go back to the beginning of the festival in 1999 when a few enthusiasts from the Rosa Lëtzebuerg asbl decided to gather at the Place du Théâtre in Luxembourg City to raise awareness about homosexuality among the general public. Gradually the few information stands gave way to a larger event on the Place d’Armes. In 2009 the Gaymat passed the threshold of 1000 visitors. \nIn 2010 the organizers decided to change the concept of the Gaymat. With a change of site from Luxembourg-City to Esch-sur-Alzette\, Gaymat has taken on another dimension and it has been transformed into a real festival\, offering a complete programme over a whole week: exhibitions\, political debates\, scientific colloquiums\, film screenings\, round tables and a closing evening.

DESCRIPTION:Founding Purpose and Objectives\n\nFormed in 1974 as a sponsored program of The Center for Social Services\, we produced the first Lesbian and Gay Parade in San Diego to celebrate the 1969 Stonewall Rebellion on New York’s Christopher Street. San Diego Pride incorporated as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in 1994\, and today it continues to bring together the skills\, talents\, and visions of our diverse community through numerous programs. \nSan Diego Pride raises funds primarily through festival ticket and beverage sales\, and through sponsorships\, and exhibitor fees. These funds support San Diego Pride’s community philanthropy which has distributed more than $2.5 million in advancement of its mission to foster pride\, equality\, and respect for all lesbian\, gay\, bisexual\, and transgender communities locally\, nationally\, and globally.
