DESCRIPTION:The organisation\n\n\nSince 2014\, Stichting Pride Amsterdam has successfully organised the annual Pride in Amsterdam. Stichting Pride Amsterdam is the spider in the web of organisations and companies that work together to create the festival. The following committees work together to organise the festival; Catering\, Boat Parade\, Pride Walk\, Art & Culture\, St. Pride & Sports\, Women & Pride\, Youth Pride\, Senior Pride\, Trans Pride\, Religion Pride\, Fetish Pride and Corporate Pride. The committees advocate for a range of activities tailored to their target group and ensure greater visibility of the same. \nStichting Pride Amsterdam is a non-profit organisation that strives for the emancipation\, social\, societal and legal equality and acceptance of gays\, bisexuals and lesbians as well as those who do not want to or cannot conform to socially dominant gender roles (such as male women\, female men and queers) or in whom the gender one was born with does not match how one feels (such as transgender persons). To achieve that\, visibility of diversity is necessary. What you see can’t be ignored.

SUMMARY:Antwerp Pride 2025
DESCRIPTION:Time to sashay and parade through the city in a positive and festive atmosphere during Antwerp Pride! \n Pride is protest\, more important than ever in this time! What better way to protest than to show who we are and what we stand for in all our beautiful colors during Antwerp’s Pride celebrations. \n The Parade starts at 2:00 PM and immediately dives into the Brouwersvliet and then heads towards the Scheldt. The route then goes along the river and at the Sint-Jansvliet where we make a turn into the Kloosterstraat\, past the statue of Peter the Great – under whose rule Russia was still tolerant of homosexuality – into the Scheldestraat and then towards the grounds of the Love United Festival on the Cockerillkaai where the party can get going. It’s a fantastic way to join Antwerp Pride.  \nIf you’re coming to watch the parade\, there are great views from anywhere along the route\, so spread out along the route to cheer on your favorite floats! For the exact route\, check out our map!  \nBut what if it gets hot at Antwerp Pride?! \nNo problem\, we have a plan! Water points will be provided throughout the parade\, thanks to the support of Waterlink\, so you can stay hydrated throughout the day. These can also be found on our map. So be sure to bring a non-disposable bottle\, so you can slay the day! Be sure to bring a parasol or a hat\, and apply plenty of sunscreen to those pretty legs! Prevention is always the best option while enjoying Antwerp Pride. \n There are certainly enough shady spots along the Parade\, especially at the Oudeleeuwenrui\, Brouwersvliet and the Kloosterstraat\, making your day at Antwerp Pride comfortable.

SUMMARY:Rotterdam Pride Festival 2025
DESCRIPTION:After a year’s absence\, Rotterdam Pride Festival will return this year with a new edition on Saturday  27 September 2025. The festival will take place on  Willemsplein  and will conclude  Pride Week \, which runs from  19 to 28 September . The organisation of Rotterdam Pride Festival 2025 is in the hands of  Bureau Vermaeck \, in collaboration with various Rotterdam parties that represent the interests of the LGBTQIA+ community . Together they join forces to once again create space for visibility\, meeting and celebration of the LGBTQIA+ community in the city. \nThe last edition of Rotterdam Pride Festival took place in June 2023 on the occasion of the 10th anniversary. In 2024\, the festival was cancelled due to financial problems of the then organization. In the summer of 2024\, Bureau Vermaeck took the initiative to bring Pride Festival back to the city. Because a city without Pride Festival is a city without a heart for all Rotterdammers. Rotterdam Pride Festival is not only a moment of celebration\, but also of visibility\, meeting and solidarity. It is an essential platform for emancipation and the celebration of diversity.
