SUMMARY:Porto Pride 2025
DESCRIPTION:History\nPorto Pride is the oldest Pride event in northern Portugal\, held since 2001\, long before the first LGBTI+ Pride March in the city\, which only took place in 2006 after the tragic death of Gisberta Salce Júnior. \nIn 2019\, everything changed. Under the motto “Giving colour to Porto”\, we stopped being a private party\, with paid tickets\, and transformed the event into a free\, open-air celebration\, open to everyone. The 2019 edition was an incredible success\, with more than 10\,000 people celebrating in Praça de D. João I. Since then\, we have continued to grow\, always with the aim of promoting diversity and inclusion.

SUMMARY:St. Cloud Pride 2025
DESCRIPTION:Our Mission\nSt. Cloud Pride was started in 2010 to raise awareness regarding issues of heterosexism\, homophobia and transphobia within the Central Minnesota community. The first annual St. Cloud Pride celebration was attended by an estimated 1\,700 people and has grown to over 8\,000 attendees in recent years. Our major focus is to provide education\, resources and event opportunities to the LGBTQ+ community throughout the year. Members of St. Cloud Pride range from all aspects of the Lesbian\, Gay\, Bisexual\, Transgender\, Queer\, Questioning\, Intersex\, Asexual\, Ally spectrum\, and share the goal of making sure everyone takes pride in themselves. This means providing assistance when people most need it. We ultimately work to create safe space and partner with community members to spread the affirmation of equality. \nOur Vision\nThrough the organization’s mission and cooperative community members\, we hope for a drastic decrease in discrimination and for all those who spread messages of equality to have their voices heard. Academic settings with reduced bullying and students possessing a greater sense of self love and acceptance for others would only create healthier environments in which to succeed. Workplaces with positive interactions and celebration of diversity could truly make for a more productive and cohesive society. While we believe a lot of good happens in our community\, we know constant work must be done to promote positive change. We cannot do this without YOU! \nPride Celebrating Love and Diversity\nWe are all beautiful and unique\, making our community an here in Central Minnesota an especially great place in which to interact. SUMMARY:Rotterdam Pride Festival 2025
DESCRIPTION:After a year’s absence\, Rotterdam Pride Festival will return this year with a new edition on Saturday  27 September 2025. The festival will take place on  Willemsplein  and will conclude  Pride Week \, which runs from  19 to 28 September . The organisation of Rotterdam Pride Festival 2025 is in the hands of  Bureau Vermaeck \, in collaboration with various Rotterdam parties that represent the interests of the LGBTQIA+ community . Together they join forces to once again create space for visibility\, meeting and celebration of the LGBTQIA+ community in the city. \nThe last edition of Rotterdam Pride Festival took place in June 2023 on the occasion of the 10th anniversary. In 2024\, the festival was cancelled due to financial problems of the then organization. In the summer of 2024\, Bureau Vermaeck took the initiative to bring Pride Festival back to the city. Because a city without Pride Festival is a city without a heart for all Rotterdammers. Rotterdam Pride Festival is not only a moment of celebration\, but also of visibility\, meeting and solidarity. It is an essential platform for emancipation and the celebration of diversity.

DESCRIPTION:OUR STORY\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nIt all started at The Little Fleet…\n…in 2014\, when a group of 2SLGBTQIA+ community members gathered to discuss the need to represent and celebrate the queer community in Northern Michigan. \nThe gathering was prompted when a straight-identified mother of four asked why there wasn’t a Pride festival in Traverse City and how important she felt it was to raise her children in a community that celebrated diversity. \nWith the overflowing support of The Little Fleet owners Gary and Allison Jonas\, founders Jonny Cameron\, Elon Cameron\, and Marta Turnbull moved quickly to organize a Visibility March on the sidewalks of downtown Traverse City\, followed by a small gathering at The Little Fleet. \nIn the years since the original march\, Up North Pride has grown to be the largest participant-driven LGBTQ+ Pride March in Michigan— now attracting more than 8\,000 attendees each year—and Michigan’s premier destination Pride Celebration\, as well as a leader in Northern Michigan’s LGBTQ+ advocacy. \nJoin us as we continue our work to make Northern Michigan a more diverse\, inclusive\, and safe place for everyone.

DESCRIPTION:About Us\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nOklahomans for Equality (OKEQ) seeks equal rights for Two Spirit\, Lesbian\, Gay\, Bisexual\, Transgender\, Queer/Questioning\, Intersex\, and Asexual (2SLGBTQIA+) individuals and families through intersectional advocacy\, education\, programs\, alliances\, and the operation of the Dennis R. Neill Equality Center. Tulsa Pride is one of the key events they organize to celebrate and support these communities\, showcasing the vibrant spirit of Tulsa Pride. \nServing 2SLGBTQIA+ Oklahomans and their allies since 1980\, Oklahomans for Equality is home to a diverse\, vibrant\, and engaged community of lesbian\, gay\, bisexual\, and transgender persons\, knowledgeable staff\, and dedicated volunteers\, with Tulsa Pride serving as a highlight of this dedication. \n​Our Story\nOklahomans for Equality / OkEq (formerly Tulsa Oklahomans for Human Rights / TOHR) was founded in 1980 by a small group of people concerned about human rights and equality for lesbian\, gay\, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) individuals. \nIn the 1980s\, OkEq sponsored several high-profile social events for the LGBT and allied community\, operated a speakers bureau\, launched the first gay pride picnic and sponsored the nationally known Southwest Invitational softball tournament. With the advent of HIV/AIDS\, OkEq sent medical professionals to health conferences to return and advise the community on the transmission of the virus. OkEq then opened Northeast Oklahoma’s first anonymous HIV testing clinic\, becoming a state leader in HIV/AIDS testing and education. In 1998\, H.O.P.E. (Health Outreach\, Prevention & Education) became a separate nonprofit organization. Today\, OkEq and H.O.P.E. continue their partnership with health testing. \nOkEq opened Oklahoma’s first LGBT Community Center in October 1996. The Center quickly became the focal point for the community and subsequently moved to two larger locations over the years. In October 2005\, thanks to the success of the Pyramid Project capital campaign\, OkEq purchased an 18\,000-square-foot facility to house the permanent home for the community. After a year of renovations and the help of 275 volunteers contributing over 7\,000 hours of labor\, the Dennis R. Neill Equality Center opened on Jan. 23\, 2007\, just in time for the annual Tulsa Pride. \nThank you for supporting the mission of equality with your resources\, time and talent. Tulsa Pride continues to play a crucial role in this mission.

DESCRIPTION:Women’s Week\n\n\nSave the Date!\nWomen’s Week 2025 will be held on October 13th through October 19th! \nWomen’s Week has grown into a festival with over 300 events that attracts some of the most talented performers in the LGBTQ scene from all across the world as well as from the local community. Opera singers\, comedians\, actresses\, authors\, and musicians of all kinds flock to Provincetown for a week of celebration and entertainment and to participate in a wide array of events. There are plays by\, for\, and about women\, Provincetown’s own American Idol\, literary meet-and-greets\, writer’s workshops\, comedy shows\, concerts\, and more. In addition to performances are football and golf tournaments\, whale watching\, dune tours\, and hikes. Provincetown’s historic art scene also takes a central stage with galleries featuring works by female artists and hosting events celebrating women in art. The array of events will feature comedy shows\, plays\, Provincetown’s own version of American Idol\, and other vibrant happenings.
