SUMMARY:Luxembourg Pride 2025
DESCRIPTION:Luxembourg Pride\n\n\nThe Luxembourg Pride was created in 1999 and will be celebrated for the 25nd time in 2024 and\, since 2010\, for the 14th time in a row in Esch-sur-Alzette\, the iron metropolis. The festival is organised by the non-profit organisation Rosa Lëtzebuerg\, a voluntary organisation which since its foundation in 1996 has been defending the rights of LGBT people living in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. \nLet’s go back to the beginning of the festival in 1999 when a few enthusiasts from the Rosa Lëtzebuerg asbl decided to gather at the Place du Théâtre in Luxembourg City to raise awareness about homosexuality among the general public. Gradually the few information stands gave way to a larger event on the Place d’Armes. In 2009 the Gaymat passed the threshold of 1000 visitors. \nIn 2010 the organizers decided to change the concept of the Gaymat. With a change of site from Luxembourg-City to Esch-sur-Alzette\, Gaymat has taken on another dimension and it has been transformed into a real festival\, offering a complete programme over a whole week: exhibitions\, political debates\, scientific colloquiums\, film screenings\, round tables and a closing evening.

However\, the fundamentally volunteer structure defines the entire association\, and thus also the CSD team. Fees or salaries are paid only for core tasks and in core areas necessary to maintain the association and ensure the CSD demonstration and the CSD finale. The committees advocate for a range of activities tailored to their target group and ensure greater visibility of the same. \nStichting Pride Amsterdam is a non-profit organisation that strives for the emancipation\, social\, societal and legal equality and acceptance of gays\, bisexuals and lesbians as well as those who do not want to or cannot conform to socially dominant gender roles (such as male women\, female men and queers) or in whom the gender one was born with does not match how one feels (such as transgender persons). To achieve that\, visibility of diversity is necessary. What you see can’t be ignored.

We are convinced that respecting the individual identities and experiences of every person is the key to a free and democratic society. To the best of our ability\, we are committed to breaking down barriers\, discrimination\, and oppression. \nTogether\, we are committed to a world where discrimination has no place and diversity is celebrated. This mission statement serves as a compass for all activities and decisions of the Hamburg Pride association. Our vision is that every queer person experiences the equal opportunities\, recognition\, and appreciation that every other person should also be entitled to. \nride Week will take place from July 26\, 2025\, to August 3\, 2025. It will be officially opened with Pride Night on July 26. Numerous events will once again take place at the Pride House in St. Georg during Pride Week. The CSD street festival on the Binnenalster is planned for August 1 to 3. The highlight of Pride Week is—of course—the CSD demonstration on August 2. All news about CSD will be announced here and on our social media channels.

DESCRIPTION:Pride’s purpose\n\n\n\n\nStockholm Pride is for those who feel involved in and respect the culture that has its roots in the lives of gay\, bisexual\, transgender\, queer and intersex people. The association manifests this by organizing the cultural festival Stockholm Pride every year. Stockholm Pride is party-political and religiously unbound. \nStockholm Pride works to strengthen the life situation and rights of LGBTQ+ people. The association’s endeavor is to make visible the heteronorm and LGBTQ+ people in society at large. The festival is a joyful free zone for LGBTQ+ people\, and works to enable LGBTQ+ people to take a place in the public space.
