Silicon Valley PRIDE is a celebration of the LGBTQ+ community and our allies.
1975: Started as a gay rights rally in San Jose.
1976: Evolved into the San Jose Pride Festival.
1977: Introduced its first official PRIDE parade.
2014: The festival was renamed Silicon Valley PRIDE to include neighboring cities, fostering unity across the region.
Today, Silicon Valley PRIDE is the largest PRIDE celebration in the South Bay—a family-friendly event that honors and celebrates the right to love and live authentically. We continue the legacy of advocacy and resilience, standing on the shoulders of those who fought for equality and inclusion. We will not be erased!
