In 2025, we will once again take to the streets of Kyiv. We have no right to remain silent, because human rights are not something that can be postponed until “after victory.” Because it is the struggle for freedom and equality that is proof of our strength, resilience, unity – our democratic European vector of development.
We see that democracy is under attack all over the world. The examples of the USA, Hungary, Georgia demonstrate that the attack on LGBTIQ+ rights is the first step towards a broader curtailment of the rights and freedoms of all people. Today people are discriminated against on the basis of sexual orientation or gender identity, and tomorrow it could be anyone else.
Only together can we stand firm and win – on all fronts.
