Ibiza Pride 2025

Ibiza Gay Pride represents the incredible support that the island of Ibiza, as a whole, offers to the LGBTQ+ community. Our goal is to share a week of activities, both advocacy and entertainment, aimed at making a positive impact in a society where much remains to be achieved. Our mission is to promote equality, respect, gender diversity, and, above all, love.

The acceptance of homosexual, bisexual, lesbian, and intersex people is, unfortunately, a pending issue for a large part of the world’s population. While it is true that, especially in the European Community, policies and legislation have recently been developed in favor of the community and social equality, there are still parts of the world where homosexuality is punishable by death. Examples include Iran, Yemen, Saudi Arabia, Mauritania, Sudan, and parts of Nigeria and Somalia. We cannot forget that in a total of 71 countries, sentences are still imposed with prison terms, life imprisonment, or sentences that involve corporal punishment. Despite the fact that Spanish LGBTIQ+ culture has crossed borders, there is still an arduous task ahead for the general population to internally normalize legally acquired rights. Ibiza prides itself on being a global benchmark for tolerance and diversity through activities that reinforce the visibility of the community, where LGBTI-phobia and hatred have no place.
