Wine Enthusiast magazine named Orlando one of the “Ten Best Wine Travel Destinations” and The New York Times recently highlighted Orlando’s “surprising food scene.” Celebrity chefs-Emeril Lagasse, Wolfgang Puck, Norman Van Aken, Todd English, and Masaharu Morimoto have put down restaurant roots in Orlando. Posh Park Avenue and gorgeous Central Park serve as centerpiece to this quaint cobbled shopping and dining district with their gurgling fountains and resplendent roses. James Beard-nominated chef Brandon McGlamery’s perennial faves LUMA on Park and Prato call this neighborhood home. Just off the main stretch, the al fresco paradise of Hamilton’s Kitchen awaits, and couples in search of romance can’t do better than Scratch, just steps away on Fairbanks.
